K Bar Z Guest Ranch, nestled deep in the pines on the east slope of the Rocky Mountains,
is the jumping off place for a four to five hour ride to our base camps in the Absaroka Wilderness and some of the most desirable big game hunting available. Here you may have the once in a lifetime experience of "bagging the big one". Our comfortable hunting camps are at Hoodoo and Papoose where hearty delicious meals are served and you can rest easy at the end of each day while our crew looks after you.
 When weather no longer permits access to our base camps we hunt from our rustic lodge at the foot of Cathedral Cliffs. Home cooked meals and warm western hospitality are our specialty.
 Hunts are conducted by licensed, experienced guides. We hunt on foot or horseback, whatever conditions dictate. We pack all game back to K Bar Z where, upon request, we can transport your trophy to Cody for processing and taxidermy.
We hunt deer, elk, antelope, sheep, goat, moose and bear. Bear tags require no drawing.
Cabins are available for non-hunting partners.
