• General Manager - TANZANIA BIG GAME SAFARIS - ARUSHA, TANZANIA, from 2007 to 2010.
Tanzania's 2nd largest hunting and photographic safari company comprising of 5 separate companies including The Conservation Foundation Trust (CFT). Supervised 5 Department Heads. Managed company logistics, operations, purchasing and 250 staff, for 14 Concessions & Camps throughout Tanzania. Met and greeted high end clients. Organize, charter flights, permits and licenses for 2 to 3 week safaris. Oversaw large workshop and stores. Supervised annual budget.

• Resident Manager -ARDVERIKIE ESTATE - INVERNESS-SHIRE, SCOTLAND, FOR CKD GALBRAITH, from 2001 to 2005 (chartered surveyors and property consultants). A busy multi activity Highland estate of 45,000 acres. Duties included: Management of farm, forestry (5000 acres), hydro-electric plant, including all trading issues. Sporting and game management, including an annual cull of 450 red deer. Organizing clients and lodges as well renting of holiday homes.

Directed: staff, budgets, 55 miles of roads and maintenance/projects for 21 buildings. Management of relationship with the BBC film crew filming the television series “Monarch of the Glen” (4 seasons). The film company was based on the estate for 8 months of the year. Oversee location agreement, access to Ardverikie house and all matters relating to the film crews interaction with the estate - a cast and crew of around 80.

• Manager - TSAOBIS LEOPARD PARK - KARIBIB, NAMIBIA from 1986 to 2000. A 120,000 acre private game reserve and camp. Created Namibia's first Cheetah breeding program and managed an orphanage with over 60 animals and birds. Successful aardwolf breeding program. Management for general well-being and veterinary care of park animals, working closely together with the parks Vet.

Handled vaccinations, removal or stitches, tranquillizing and darting animals. In emergencies performed minor surgery with instructions from Vet. Conservation management within the park: anti-poaching, maintenance of buildings, fencing, waterholes and pumps as well as to oversaw and maintain the tourist camp (10 Chalets).Staff management and payroll. Remodeled entire facility over 15 year period.
