Watch our video to learn more:http://votesmart.org/video.php Description: The Project's Great Divide Ranch Research Center is located 100 miles south of Missoula and 65 miles west of Butte, Montana. Nestled in the high peaks, lakes and streams of the Continental Divide the Great Divide Ranch is teaming with moose, elk, beaver and fish. There are a myriad of outdoor activities available in the summer including hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and much more. We also have tennis, basketball, and horseshoe facilities, as well as a small library and game room. We are looking for a someone with basic maintenance skills to work with interns to maintain recreational and lodging facilities at Vote Smart's beautiful Great Divide Ranch research retreat in the Montana Rockies. Maintenance Director will supervise, as well as participate in, outdoor maintenance teams. Duties will include, but not be limited to, wood gathering and splitting, trail maintenance, assisting in caring for horses, upkeep of paddle boats and canoes, tennis court repairs, painting, shoveling, landscaping, etc. Almost all time will be spent outdoors. Must work well with others, as well as on your own. Will require some heavy lifting.
