Watch our video to learn more:http://votesmart.org/video.php Project Vote Smart is seeking a temporary full-time cook for its Montana Research Retreat Center. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young people, have experience cooking for large groups, and be dedicated to the Project's mission of voter education and candidate accountability. Project Vote Smart houses and feeds up to 60 people within its dining and living facilities from May through September of each year. The Cook's primary responsibility is to prepare meals for our residents each day during this time period. The Cook will plan menus, make food orders, and be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the kitchen. Similar to a camp atmosphere and working environment, the Cook works together with our Lodge Manager to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, and provide an appropriate living and eating environment for student interns and member volunteers. We offer an extraordinary experience in an extraordinary place. Located on a private ranch, the Project's Great Divide Ranch Retreat research facility is nestled in the Montana wilderness with its own streams and lakes, which are heavily populated with moose, elk, and other wildlife.
